Privacy Policy

Last updated: August 11, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how The Cardboard Gallery ("we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and safeguards information when you visit our website or interact with our contact, trade night, and vendor inquiry forms. This site is operated from California, USA.

Who this site is for

The Site is intended for adults age 18 and older who are interested in attending, exhibiting at, or sponsoring events hosted by The Cardboard Gallery. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 in accordance with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA). Our forms are designed for adult ticket-buyers, vendors, and trade night attendees only. If you believe a child under 13 has submitted personal information to us, please contact us at info@thecardboardgallery.com and we will delete it promptly.

What we collect

We collect only the information you voluntarily provide:

  • Contact & Vendor forms: Name, email address, phone number, social media handles, and the contents of your message or vendor table inquiry.
  • Technical data: Basic server logs (IP address, browser user-agent, request timestamps) retained for security and abuse prevention.

Ticket purchases and vendor reservations may be processed through third-party platforms (such as Eventbrite, Square, or Stripe). We do not receive or store payment card details. Their collection and use of your payment data is governed by their respective privacy policies.

How we use your information

We use the information you submit only to respond to your inquiry, fulfill vendor table requests, send event updates, and improve the site. We do not use your information for automated decision-making or profiling.

We do not sell or share your information

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We do not share your information with third-party advertisers or sponsors for their own marketing purposes. Information you submit is used solely by The Cardboard Gallery team to assist you.

Cookies and tracking

This Site relies on standard functional cookies provided by Squarespace for site security and functionality. If we add advertising cookies or third-party analytics in the future, we will update this policy and present a cookie consent banner letting you manage your preferences.

Third-party links

The Site links to external services such as Eventbrite, Instagram (@thecardboardgalleryshow), Google Maps, and venue partner pages. Your interactions with those services are governed by their own privacy policies.

Data retention and security

Form submissions are retained only as long as needed to respond to your inquiry and for reasonable business records, then deleted. We use industry-standard security measures to protect the information we hold, though no online transmission is 100% secure.

Your California privacy rights (CCPA / CPRA)

If you are a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act (as amended by the CPRA) gives you the right to:

  • Know what personal information we have collected about you.
  • Request a copy of that information.
  • Request deletion of your personal information.
  • Correct inaccurate personal information.
  • Opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of your personal information.
  • Be free from discrimination or retaliation for exercising any of these rights.

To exercise any of these rights, email us at info@thecardboardgallery.com with the subject line "California Privacy Request."

Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information

The Cardboard Gallery does not sell your personal information and does not share your personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising under the CCPA/CPRA. Because we do not engage in either activity, no opt-out is required.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be indicated by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this page.
